Description
The Walther P5 is a 9MM pistol developed in the mid 1970’s by Walther, with the German Police Forces in mind, who were wanting to replace existing 7.65mm pistols with a 9mm.
The Walther P5 was eventually procured alongside the Sig Sauer P225 and the HK P7, as one of the common German police firearms of the 1970’s and 1980’s. The P5 uses the same basic design principles as the Walther P38, with further developments resulting in improved accuracy and ergonomic improvements such as a slide lock that doubles as a decocker.
This example comes with two magazines, its original Walther hard case, and is in exceptional condition. This P5 is now in store and available for purchase, priced at $1,499.00.
