Volquartsen’s incredible superlight carbon fiber barreled actions equipped with a Grey Birch Mfg “La Chassis”, now in stock and available in both the traditional Semi-Auto action, and the straight push/pull Summit action.
The Superlite Semi Auto is the better known of the pair, but we have a lot of success and interest recently in the Summit action of this rifle. Part of that is Kevin having his personal rifle on display in the store the last few months, when he hasn’t brought it home to shoot. The other big part of this is the ability to be able to shoot 22LR subsonic/quiet rounds far, without the concern of the rifle cycling. With a good quality subsonic/quiet round and a 22LR suppressor, you can easily achieve the mythical “Hollywood quiet” status with this rifle.
The Semi Auto platform is just as excellent, and more ideal for those who are using it for varmint hunting, competition shooting, or those who don’t plan on running any of the slower and “quiet” rounds. Weighing in at just 4lbs 7oz, with a foldable and adjustable stock, this rifle is easy to carry with you and compact enough to fit in small rifle cases.
