It is a 12 gauge example with 30″ barrels, and it is choked IM/IC, and all parts are numbers matching. The owner is asking $3,600.00 for this remarkably special piece of shotgun history. According to a Lefever collectors online resource, the serial number traces this shotgun back to a production year of 1890.
The Grade E means that the shotgun is equipped with Fine Damascus barrels, fine English walnut stock, straight, one-half or full pistol grip with rubber cap, very effective scroll design with a dog handsomely executed on each lock plate, rubber butt plate, beautifully checkered and finished.
