The S3 is a rare variation of the Browning 725. The easiest way to explain it is that this is how 725’s are sold in Europe: with a Grade V/VI walnut stock, low luster blued receiver, ivory front bead, tear drop detail in the stock, and no porting on the barrels.
Previously, these were priced well over a standard 725 Sporting, but with recent price increases, is now close to the pricing of a standard 825 Sporting. This 725 S3 Sporting is a brand new example, available now for $3,748.75.
