This Browning Superposed is a Belgian Superposed Grade III Lightning, chambered in 12 Gauge with 28″ barrels, choked full and full, with a vent rib. The shotgun comes with a letter from Browning’s in-house historian providing all sorts of details, like it’s original sales price and invoice number.
Serial numbers indicate that it was built in 1960 (#72199), and Browning has the original invoice dated December 20th, 1962, and the shotgun was sent to Abercrombie & Fitch on Madison Ave in New York City.
This Superposed shows in good condition and is now in store on consignment, and available for purchase. We’ll be in store until 8PM this evening if you’d like to come check it out.
