Description
One of Beretta’s highly decorated Silver Pigeons, this 687 is a grade V Sporting shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with 30” barrels, with an adjustable comb, and it is available now. The engraving on the Grade V differs from the standard 686, but the real beauty of this shotgun is in the hand oiled high-grade stock and forearm. As time goes on, beautiful wood becomes rarer and more expensive. Beretta sets these special pieces of wood asides and saves them for shotguns like this.
The fine engravings are made using state-of-the-art 5-axis laser technology and are embellished by a special sparkle in the bas-relief areas, which creates a pleasing contrast effect, highlighting the deep scroll motifs on the receiver, opening lever, trigger guard, locking shoulders, pins and forend release.
