SUMMARY:2016 Annual Sporting Women Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A Passion for sports & recreation in the great outdoors\, as well as the generosity & will of Donna McMillion\, George Clark & The Members of the Eastern Hills Rod\, Gun & Conservation Club launched the beginnings of Sporting Women.  Since 2004\, over 1\,500 women and 200 volunteers/instructors have participated in the annual sporting women’s workshop at Eastern Hills RGCC. \nThe Sporting Women workshop focus evolved into “Sporting Women Helping Women.”   In addition to outdoors education\, the workshop became a means to provide assistance to other non-profit organizations that are dedicated to women.  Our annual silent auction proceeds have been donated to various organizations- the House of Peace\, YWCA’s shelter for women and children who are displaced from their homes due to domestic violence\, and the Widows of WWII Veterans of Clermont County\, Ohio.  In 2016\, all proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the WWII Veterans of Clermont County & their widows. \n  \n  \n
